Gingersnap Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. oleo or shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    4 Tbsp. molasses
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Cream
    butter
    and
    sugar
    well.
    Add egg and molasses. Combine
    flour,
    salt, soda and spices; add to creamed mixture and mix
    well.\tRoll
    stiff dough into small balls and roll in sugar; place
    on
    greased cookie sheet.
    Indent very slightly with tip of\tfinger,
    but
    don't flatten.
    Bake 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
