Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak
    2 large carrots, sliced
    celery, sliced
    1 can tomato sauce (15 oz.)
    1 can peas
    3 onions, sliced
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 1/2 c. rice
Preparation
    Cut up round steak as in stew.
    Brown beef and sliced onions. Add celery.
    Add tomato sauce, peas and carrots (sliced).
    Thicken as in gravy and pour over 1 1/2 cups cooked rice.
    Simmer stew about 1 hour before thickening.
