Pumpkin Cake - cooking recipe

4 eggs
2 c. sifted flour, sift before measuring
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cloves
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin
Preparation

In a large bowl of mixer let eggs warm to room temperature, about 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Sift flour with soda, salt, cloves, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg.
Beat in oil and pumpkin to blend well.
At low speed, beat flour mixture just until combined.
Pour into ungreased 9-inch tube pan.
Bake 1 hour or until surface springs back when touched.
Cool cake completely in pan.
