Apple Rolls With Custard Sauce - cooking recipe

5 medium diced apples
1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 c. hot water
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Prepare crust for 10-inch two-crust pie.
Roll into rectangular shape on floured board.
Spread apples over dough. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Slice 3/8-inch thick.
Place in baking dish, cut side up.
Melt butter in hot water.
Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon.
Add to liquid and mix well.
Add vanilla.
Pour over rolls.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
