Ingredients

3/4 c. melted butter
2 eggs
1 scant Tbsp. flour
1 c.sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Break eggs in a dish with melted butter; add sugar, then sift the flour on the sugar and beat together well.
Then add vanilla and buttermilk.
Bake in one crust in moderate oven for 50 to 60 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Be careful not to burn, just a lovely brown. This is an old Virginia recipe.
