Marinara Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. extra virgin olive oil
2 to 3 cloves garlic
1 large chopped onion
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper (more or optional)
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
4 (14 oz.) cans diced tomatoes
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/3 c. fresh chopped parsley (1 Tbsp. dried)
1/3 c. fresh chopped basil (1 Tbsp. dried)
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Combine olive oil, garlic, onion, red pepper, oregano and Italian seasoning. Saute, stirring often, until onions are transparent.
Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, (stir occasionally) for about 1 hour. Serve over angel hair pasta.
