Cornbread Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 large onion
    1 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 large can whole kernel corn
    1 qt. canned tomatoes, pureed
    salt to taste
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Saute onion with ground meat while it is browning; drain and add salt, pepper, corn and tomatoes. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add chili powder. Pour in a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. Make a thin cornbread batter and spoon over the top.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until cornbread is done on top.
