Sausage Twirls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pkg. pork sausage
    2 c. biscuit mix
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
    1/4 c. bell pepper (red or green), finely chopped
    1/4 c. finely chopped green onions
Preparation
    Combine biscuit mix, milk and melted butter in a bowl. Stir until blended, then refrigerate for 30 minutes. Divide dough into 2 pieces. Roll out each piece to 1/8-inch thickness, about 8 x 10. Spread each rectangle with uncooked sausage and sprinkle on the peppers and onion. Then roll up lengthwise and place in freezer for an hour to make slicing easier.
