Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. self-rising meal
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. half and half
1 1/2 c. sweet potatoes
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cook sweet potatoes and mash.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream sugar and butter in mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Add corn meal and half and half; blend well.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
Add sweet potatoes, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt and vanilla.
Blend well.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until knife inserted one inch from edge comes out clean.
Cool in pan on wire rack.
Serve with scoop of whipped cream.
