Cocktail Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    2 tsp. monosodium glutamate
    1/4 c. pkg. dried bread crumbs
    2 (14 oz.) bottles hot, tangy or spicy catsup
    1 (10 oz.) jar apple jelly
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix together ground chuck, onion soup, egg, m.s.g. and bread crumbs.
    Form into bite-size meat balls.
    Arrange on cookie sheets.
    Brown in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 15 minutes.
    Stir together catsup and jelly until blended; heat over medium heat.
    (I use crock-pot.)
    Add meat balls.
    Simmer until ready to use (at least 1 hour).
