Superb Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    3 large eggs, beaten
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Beat sugar into eggs in a medium bowl; beat in corn syrup, butter and vanilla.
    Stir in pecans; pour into pie shell.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven until when a knife inserted midway between center and edge is withdrawn clean, 45 to 60 minutes.
    Cool completely on a wire rack.
