Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large onions, sliced
    1 green pepper, minced
    3 Tbsp. fat
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 tsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Saute onions and green pepper in fat until onions are yellow. Add ground beef and fry until beef falls apart.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Pour into a greased 2-quart casserole.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Remove cover last 15 minutes.
    Yields 6 servings.
