Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. baking soda
    3 1/2 c. flour
    4 eggs, beaten
    2/3 c. cherry juice
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. liquid shortening
    1 c. dates, chopped
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. pumpkin
    1 c. cherries, chopped
Preparation
    Combine everything in one bowl and mix by hand.
    Do not beat! Beat eggs in bowl before adding them.
    Pour batter into 4 (1-pound) coffee cans or 2 loaf pans that have been well-greased.
    Fill half full and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
