Chilled Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pt. strawberries
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1 envelope plain gelatin
    dash of salt
    1/3 c. water
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 tsp. Kirsch (black cherry brandy)
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 (9-inch) graham cracker crust
Preparation
    Puree about 2 cups strawberries in blender.
    Slice the rest. Reserve 3 for garnish.
    In saucepan, combine sugar, gelatin, salt, water and lemon juice.
    Stir over low heat until dissolved.
    Add pureed strawberries; cool thoroughly.
    Fold sliced strawberries and Kirsch into gelatin mixture.
    Whip 1/2 cup of the cream; gently fold into gelatin mixture.
    Pour into crust.
    Chill for 3 hours or until firm.
    Add cream just before serving.
