    salt (optional)
Preparation
    Scald
    and
    peel tomatoes.
    Fill in jars.
    Use a little salt if
    desired.
    Put into oven on a pan and bake at 250\u00b0 for 45 minutes if using pint jars.
    Quart jars take longer.
