1-2-3-4 Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or oleo
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time.
    Beat in milk (small amount at a time), then flour (sifted with baking powder and salt; small amount at a time).
    Fold in well beaten egg whites and vanilla.
    Bake in large tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
