Farmers Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1 c. hot water
    3/4 c. butter
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix cocoa into water. Stir in butter and allow to cool. Sift dry ingredients and stir into cocoa mixture. Add eggs. Beat in buttermilk and then vanilla. Add nuts. Spread on buttered 10 x 15-inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
