Foolproof Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    4 or 5 c. flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 egg
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar and salt together.
    Melt shortening in 1 cup warm water.
    Mix all together.
    Add egg, beaten slightly.
    Let rise in warm place until double in bulk.
    Knead; make into rolls. Let rise and bake in hot (450\u00b0) oven.
    Uncooked dough can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.
