Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. milk
    about 3 heaping Tbsp. peanut butter
    1/4 stick butter or margarine
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Cook on medium heat until candy makes a soft ball when dropped in water.
    Remove from heat to cool.
    After candy has cooled, beat for approximately 5 minutes. Pour into buttered platter.
    Cut into squares when firm.
