Soda Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    pinch of salt
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
Preparation
    Rub dry ingredients and shortening together to make fine crumbs.
    Add milk, stirring with fork, until soft dough is formed. Roll 1/2 inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Serve warm with butter or gravy.
