Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
4 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. coconut
Preparation

In a pan, mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and milk.
Add one egg yolk at a time, while stirring ingredients over medium heat. Continue stirring constantly until filling thickens.
Boil 1 minute.
Remove from stove and add butter, vanilla and coconut. Pour into baked pie shell.
Top with meringue or Cool Whip.
