Scotch Raisin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. molasses
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. raisins
1 c. oatmeal
2 c. buttermilk
3 c. plain flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Beat eggs until light.
Add sugar gradually until fluffy.
Add buttermilk and molasses; mix well. Sift flour. Add salt, baking powder and soda. Add to egg mixture.
Mix well. Add oatmeal, nuts and raisins.
Bake in 2 greased loaf pans at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Freezes well. Serve with cream cheese.
