Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow Butter Recipe cake mix
    3 pkg. French vanilla instant pudding
    2 cans pineapple tidbits, drained
    4 large bananas
    2 qt. strawberries, cleaned and sliced lengthwise
    1 large plus 1 small Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake in a 9 x 13-inch pan; cool. Prepare pudding as directed; refrigerate. Drain pineapple. Slice strawberries. In bottom of large punch bowl, break up 1/2 of cake; cover with 1/2 of pudding. Layer 1 can of pineapple tidbits, 2 sliced bananas and 1 quart sliced strawberries, standing 1 roll of strawberries around edges of bowl. Fill center with remaining quart. Cover with 1 small tub of Cool Whip. Repeat 2nd layer in same order, using 1 large Cool Whip to cover top.
    Garnish with strawberries, cut in half. Great for reunions and parties!
