Orange Freeze Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pie shell baked or ready to use graham crust
    1 pkg. orange gelatin
    1 cup vanilla ice cream, softened
    1 can mandarin oranges (11 oz.) drained
    1 cup whipped topping, thawed
    2/3 cup boiling orange juice
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in orange juice.
    Add ice cream by spoonfuls, blending until dissolved.
    Chill until slightly thickened.
    Stir in oranges.
    Fold in whipped topping.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Freeze until firm, about 2 hours.
    Remove from freezer 15 minutes before serving.
