Candy Cane Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. peppermint ice cream
    2 qt. ginger ale
    2 c. milk
    2 tsp. peppermint extract
    red food coloring
    miniature candy canes (to garnish glasses)
Preparation
    Soften ice cream slightly.
    Combine with ginger ale, milk and extract.
    Stir until well blended.
    Add few drops of red food color until it is bright pink.
    Makes about 3 quarts.
