Chicken And Sausage Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large fryer
    1 lb. smoked sausage
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 qt. chicken broth
    1 c. tomato sauce
    2 1/2 c. uncooked long grain rice
Preparation
    In a large Dutch oven, brown meat in oil.
    Remove meat; reduce heat and saute vegetables until onion is clear.
    Add seasonings, Worcestershire sauce, broth and tomato sauce.
    Simmer for about 15 minutes.
    Add meat and rice and stir.
    Cover and cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
    Cook an additional 20 minutes over low heat, without stirring.
    If chicken broth is from chicken bouillon cubes, reduce salt.
