Mexican Cornbread 2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained in colander
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 or more jalapeno peppers, as desired
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. drippings or oil
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 can cream-style corn
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients and set aside.
    Mix remaining ingredients together and pour 1/2 of the batter to edges of pan. Pour in first mixture to 1 inch from sides and top with remaining batter.
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
