Ingredients

3 c. grated raw sweet potatoes
1 c. milk (evaporated is best)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs
pinch of salt
1/2 c. chopped pecans or crushed pineapple (optional)
1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Grate sweet potatoes or yams on a medium side of hand grater or in the blender.
Combine all of the ingredients (except eggs).
Add well beaten eggs.
Pour into shallow buttered baking pan.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
Serves 6.
