Hot Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/5 stick butter (oleo)
    1 chopped onion (fine)
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1 small jar dried beef, chopped fine or 1 can crab meat
Preparation
    Melt butter. Saute onion. Add cream cheese, mayonnaise and dried beef.
    Heat until bubbly.
    If using crab, add 2 more tablespoons of mayonnaise.
