Swiss Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
3 medium carrots, sliced
2 medium onions, chopped
1 c. shredded cabbage
3 tsp. dried parsley
1 (16 oz.) pkg. American cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
2 (13 oz.) cans chicken broth
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen French-style green beans
1/2 tsp. caraway seed
Preparation

In a 4-quart pot, cook margarine, carrots, onions, cabbage, parsley and salt over medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add chicken broth, green beans (thawed) and caraway seed and heat to boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Serve hot over cubes of cheese.
