Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. pecan halves
1/2 c. chopped pecans
3 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. white Karo syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream together butter and vanilla.
Add sugar gradually, creaming well after each addition.
Add eggs gradually, beating until fluffy.
Fold in chopped pecans, corn syrup and salt.
Stir well.
Turn into 9-inch unbaked pie shell and bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake another 30 to 35 minutes or until a knife comes out clean when inserted in center of pie.
