Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cooking oatmeal
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. molasses
    2 eggs or 3 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. soft margarine or light oil
    1/2 c. bran
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine the oats and boiling water; let stand for five minutes.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Have ready a greased 9 x 12-inch baking pan.
    Add the rest of the ingredients to the oatmeal mixture.
    Blend well and turn into the prepared pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes, or until done.
