Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    strawberries
    cornstarch
    sugar
Preparation
    Slice strawberries and sweeten; allow strawberries to set and make juice.
    Drain juice and measure in heavy pan.
    For each 1 cup of juice use 2 level tablespoonfuls cornstarch.
    Mix cornstarch and equal amount sugar.
    Sift into juice, stirring well.
    Bring to full boil.
    Remove from heat and add berries, cool.
    Dump into baked pie shell, top with Cool Whip.
    This also makes a good icing for yellow cake topped with Cool Whip.
