Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 pkg. (6 oz.) jello (any flavor)
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. pecans
    12 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bring pineapple to boil, add jello and stir until dissolved. Add other ingredients except Cool Whip.
    Let cool.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Chill until firm.
    Will keep for 2 weeks.
