Cinnamon Cream Cheese Squares - cooking recipe

2 tubes refrigerated crescent rolls
2 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar, divided
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Unroll 1 tube of dough and place in lightly greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Seal seams and perforations. Set aside. In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread over dough. Unroll remaining tube of dough and place over cream cheese mixture, stretching to fit. Brush butter evenly over top. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done. Cool and cut into squares.
