Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8-inch) baked pie shell
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 c. flour
    2 eggs, separated
    1 c. scalded milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine in a heavy saucepan sugar, flour and butter.
    Stir and cook until well blended.
    Add milk.
    Stir.
    Beat 2 egg yolks until light.
    Pour a little of the milk mixture over beaten egg yolks and then combine.
    Stir constantly until thick.
    Cool and flavor with the vanilla.
    Pour into the baked pie shell.
    Cover with meringue (out of the 2 egg whites).
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
