Spicy Sweet And Sour Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. white vinegar
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
    6 c. cabbage (1 small head), cut into 1-inch squares
Preparation
    Combine sugar, salt, soy sauce and vinegar; set aside.
    Heat oil in large skillet; add red peppers and cook 5 seconds.
    Add cabbage; cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Stir soy mixture and pour over cabbage.
    Turn heat to high.
    Stir until well mixed. Serve immediately.
    Yields 6 servings.
