Mexican Cinnamon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    2 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 c. granulated sugar or 3/4 c. confectioners sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    In a large bowl, with electric mixer at high speed, beat butter until light and fluffy.
    At low speed, beat in 1/2 cup confectioners sugar, the flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, vanilla and salt just until combined.
    Dough will be rather stiff.
    Shape into a ball; wrap in waxed paper.
    Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
