Duchess Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked, mashed potatoes (instant or fresh)
    1 can sliced carrots, drained (16 oz.)
    2 cans cut green beans, drained
    salt and pepper
    1/2 tsp. leaf marjoram, crushed
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Spoon mashed potatoes into a 9-inch pie plate, building up the edge to form a shell.
    Place carrots in a row across the middle. Spoon green beans on each side.
    Sprinkle with salt, pepper and marjoram (salt is unnecessary).
    Dot with butter.
    Cover loosely with foil.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until vegetables are hot.
