Marinated Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
    1 (16 oz.) can peaches, sliced
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple bits
    2 large bananas, sliced
    1 (8 oz.) jar red maraschino cherries
    2 Tbsp. instant orange drink mix (Tang, no water)
    1 (5 1/2 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
Preparation
    Drain all canned fruit and mix the liquid juices together. Divide juice in half; set aside.
    Mix all fruit except bananas in a separate bowl.
    Mix orange drink and pudding mix together; add 1/2 of the liquid fruit juice to the dry mixture.
    Add more juice if needed (mixture should be creamy but not thick).
    Add pudding to fruit; fold together.
    Chill.
    Just before serving, add bananas.
