Chocolate Eclairs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. self-rising flour
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Let water, shortening and salt come to a boil and melt shortening.
    Reduce heat to warm and add self-rising flour all at one time.
    Stir hard until it makes a ball around the spoon.
    Take off heat and add 4 eggs, one at a time, beating in each egg thoroughly with a spoon.
    Drop by tablespoons on one greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Reduce to 325\u00b0 and bake another 20 minutes.
    Let puffs cool.
    Cut off tops.
    Fill with filling, replace tops, then put icing on top.
