Cocoa Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. Dutch process cocoa powder
    1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine the water and sugar in a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat and stir to dissolve the sugar.
    Increase the heat and bring to a rolling boil to form a sugar syrup.
    Let the syrup boil for 1 minute.
    Remove from heat and whisk in cocoa powder.
    Return pan to medium heat and whisk 3 to 5 minutes until sauce is smooth and thick.
    Remove from heat and whisk in the vanilla.
