Easy Wine Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 thick loin pork chops, well trimmed of fat
    salt and pepper
    Sauterne or other white dinner wine
    3 onions, quartered
Preparation
    Brown chops in heavy skillet.
    Season with salt and pepper. Add the wine to half cover the meat.
    Arrange onions around chops. Bake in a moderate oven (350\u00b0) for about 1 hour or until meat is fork-tender.
    Add more wine as needed.
    Serves 6.
