German Chocolate Turtle Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. melted oleo
    1 small can evaporated milk
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt caramels with 1/2 can of milk in a double boiler.
    In a bowl, mix cake mix, oleo, rest of milk and nuts.
    Press 1/2 of mixture in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Bake 6 minutes at 350\u00b0. Take out and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
    Pour on caramel mixture and dab on remaining dough.
    Bake for additional 15 to 20 minutes.
    Cool and serve.
