Old Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
1 c. sweet milk
5 eggs, well beaten
5 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar, add well beaten eggs and milk.
Mix cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and add to flour.
Combine all ingredients. Knead to a stiff dough.
Roll out thick or thin (I prefer thick) according to your preference.
Cut out with cookie or biscuit cutter.
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until lightly browned.
