Raw Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. cabbage
    9 sweet red peppers
    9 sweet green peppers
    4 large onions
    4 large carrots
    3 pt. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. mustard
    1/2 Tbsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, peppers, carrots and onions and add salt.
    Mix well and let stand 3 hours.
    Let drain 1 hour.
    Add remainder of ingredients; mix and let stand 1/2 hour.
    Put in jars and seal.
