Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    3/4 c. sliced mushrooms
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    3/4 to 1 c. milk
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1/3 c. enriched flour
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    2 c. coarsely chopped, cooked chicken
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
Preparation
    Melt butter in large saucepan. Add celery and mushrooms. Cook slowly for about 5 minutes. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk and chicken broth gradually, stirring constantly. Cook until sauce is thickened. Stir in chopped chicken. Pour mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole.
