Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, blend
    1 2/3 c. light brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together well. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture. Beat until blended.
    Stir in chopped nuts.
    Bake in lightly greased pan in 350\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes.
