Mom'S Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 onion, peeled and sliced
3 Tbsp. butter or bacon grease
3/4 c. flour, sifted
2 c. milk
salt, pepper and garlic powder
2 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
Preparation

Cook potatoes and onion until half done in water and drain. In skillet, melt butter. In a bowl, sift flour and gradually add milk; beat with a whisk until smooth and creamy. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. Place Velveeta cubes in white sauce mixture. Stir until all is melted. If too thick, add more milk to make a smooth consistency. You should use close to 4 cups milk in all.
