Homemade Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. beef
    3 Tbsp. oil
    2 cans sliced carrots
    2 cans English peas
    onions (if desired)
    2 c. water
    2 lb. potatoes, diced
    2 cans whole kernel corn
    2 cans beef gravy
Preparation
    Cut up beef and roll in flour; brown in the oil.
    Put in a crock-pot and cook overnight with 2 cups water. Dice the potatoes. Put in crock-pot the next morning.
    When the potatoes are done, add the carrots, corn, peas, gravy and onions. Cook over low heat about 4 hours, adding a little water when needed.
